Sargeson's Story
Our CEO, Robert Sargeson, explains it like this: “Sargeson’s supplies and sells plumbing and gas heating spares on the Fylde coast to both the trade and public. We sell boilers, bathrooms, taps, radiators, gas analysers, plumbing spares and much more.
“With over 40 years in business and a wealth of connections… don’t panic, Sargy’s will have it.“
Humble beginnings
Humble beginnings
Sargeson’s began trading in October of 1978.
Our story began with the vision of Les and Margaret Sargeson who wanted to offer the people of Blackpool and surrounding areas plumbing supplies at great prices. The shop went from strength to strength throughout its many years of trading before being taken over by Robert and Suzanne Sargeson when Les and Margaret retired.
Thanks to our unrivalled stock and service our small business has now been trading for over 40 years and offers a great range of bathroom and heating spares.
End of an era
In 1998, Les and Margaret retired and enjoyed many long drives to Spain in their caravan. After 20 years in business, the shop was now the sole responsibility of Robert and Suzanne. Whilst Les and Margaret were retired they still had a close relationship with the shop and its customers and would often pop in to say hello!
In loving memory
Unfortunately in 2013 Les Sargeson passed away. Since then Sargeson’s has made sure his memory and legacy live on and his impact on the plumbing community in the North West will never be forgotten. From its humble beginning Les was instrumental in making Sargeson’s what it is today and we owe a great deal to our dad, grandad and friend.
